Steve started Organizing for Scotts Valley Schools bringing people together within their own neighborhoods to help identify and work on ways to avoid further decline in our public schools.

Meet Scotts Valley’s new Superintendent of Schools

An announcement from the Board:

The Board of Education would like to invite the Scotts Valley Community to meet Penny Weaver, Scotts Valley Unified School District’s new superintendent.

Ms. Weavers’ passion is in educational leadership.  She has an affinity for working with people, a style of positive communication and transparency in practice.

Please plan to drop by during either of the times listed below to join us in welcoming Penny Weaver as she begins her leadership in the Scotts Valley Unified School District.

When & Where?
Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Mint 4652 Scotts Valley Dr. 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Hilton in Scotts Valley 6001 La Madrona Dr. 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. 

These events will be a no-host bar and light appetizers will be provided.
