According to the BR549 GM Wendy Trefethen, "after the first few weeks, we lost our focus, and we decided that the time was right to make this move." She also was quoted as saying, "our confidence in Jr. Samples was shaken by the fact that ALL of his 'operations' backfired, and that his primary strategy centered around changing the team's name.
